So last week's Etsy Craft Party at Work-Shop Melbourne was loads of fun and the turn out was huge! We had over 70 lovely crafters turn up to make some seriously bright and sparkly contraptions, from tiny party hats to paper collage and incredible origami! This year's theme was "Kaliedoscope: Paper Taking Shape", so it pretty much just left it open for us to work with our favourite thing in the world, PAPER!
I had the pleasure of crafting alongside some very rad industry gurus which was amazing! Ms Candy Sparkles got people making abstract paper kaleidoscope patterns, and they turned out great <3
Michelle Lackenby from Paperazzi Design Studio was helping people with some intricate paper-folding and made gorgeous paper gems and sculptures.
The cuties from RMIT collective After Hours made the night super festive with their tiny bright party hats - I'm so jealous I didn't get around to making one of these!
Oh, and THERE WAS A PHOTOBOOTH. We basically all just lost our shit over this. So. Much. Confetti.
All in all it was a very cool night with many sugary treats, mulled wine, great tunes, and very wonderful people! A big thanks to Work-Shop Melbourne for hosting it and inviting me to join in on the fun.
